Our dispute resolution team's approach is to attempt to quickly resolve the matter through negotiation without Court intervention where possible, with the end result often being more cost effective, both financially and emotionally.

The team believes that an inflammatory, angry and aggressive approach rarely achieves our clients' goal, and may often lengthen the proceedings resulting in emotional stress and escalated legal fees.

Rebecca's experience working within the Court system has given her a strong awareness of the emotional toll the litigation process can have on clients.

Rebecca is passionate about 'fixing' problems either through negotiation, mediation or litigation if necessary. She will strive to minimise the trauma and associated legal costs involved for her clients and aims to assist her clients to obtain the best possible outcomes available to them, by providing high quality legal advice, including honest assessments of alternative approaches, so they are equipped to make sound decisions moving forward.

Rebecca is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, a member of Women Lawyers' Association of Qld, a member of the Family Law Practitioners' Association of Queensland, as well as Treasurer of the Toowoomba Childrens Contact Centre.
